We will be launching and giving the book “Life and Beyond” together with the Tibetan Brass Buddha statue - for free on Saturday, February 27 at 2PM in the Universal Wisdom Foundation Auditorium. The book talks about birth, life after death, and karma, produced by our friends in the Dharma. For years, the fulfillment of this project has become the foundation’s long-term goal. Now, seeing the fruit of this incomparable labor, we would like to share these precious gifts to you. Then, the launching will be followed by a talk by Venerable Vincent Taguinod, a Filipino Theravadin monk from Cambodia. We are inviting everyone to read it with a healthy balance of openness and skepticism as this contains invaluable philosophy of awareness with a hope to touch everybody’s life to imbibe the teachings of the Buddha. Let this be an inspiration in sowing more good karma and an existing memory of the Buddha’s life and wise teachings. You may also invite your friends to witness this auspicious event.
